The third day of The Athena Ride for Women kicked off day bright and early on August 12, 2022. The day involved a morning yoga session, a 104-mile ride to Marietta, Ohio, an 87-mile ride into the Muskingum River Valley, confidence, self-defense, and road-ready workshops. Finally, the day ended with the bikers parading through Uptown Athens with their bikes adorned with hues of purple to raise awareness for victims of interpersonal violence.
